Benefits of a Dog Crate

There are many benefits to invest in a dog crate.

Dog Crates should never be used to punish a dog.  There are many others uses for dog cages that are very beneficial. 

If your lovable pet normally stays outside, a dog crate for extreme weather days.   You and you dog feel better and sleep better knoing they are safe.

Dog Crates serve as a place your dog can retreat to for the night.   Some have mishaps during the night.  Or try to get inot things or tear them up.  This is a great bebfit to you it also helps you sleep well knowing they aren't roaming around.

Use a dog crate when your dog is sick, it will help him rest and not have accidents in the home.

Although children don't know better, dogs sometimes get upset when children try to pick them up or bother them.  I would invest in a wire dog cage so the kids can still view and talk to the puppy.   So if in doubt put your dog in a dog crate before small children arrive.

Dog crates are very useful when traveling.  A soft crate is a good choice.  A dog crate will restrain your dog  while in the car, he won't be moving about, which could be dangerous. 

There will be times you need to do say housework, you can use a dog cage as a pen. Dog crates come in handy for the times you have to be away from home.  Using one you can feel you can have peace of mind knowing your house will be fine.

To sum it up a dog crate has a lot of uses.  Myself I wouldn't own a dog without one.  I hope these tips give you some insight when debating whether or not to invest in a crate.
